USA Ultimate is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit membership organization with its national headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo. Founded in 1979 as the Ultimate Players Association, USA Ultimate is the largest flying disc organization in the world with more than 63,000 members, including athletes, coaches, observers and league and event organizers.

Bay Area Disc’s mission is to serve, strengthen, and grow the Ultimate community by creating opportunities for athletes of all ages and backgrounds to interact, develop, and compete. In all aspects of our work and play, we embrace and promote Spirit of the Game.

BADA provides a lot of opportunities for youth players and has a schedule posted with various activities.

The mission of Oakland Ultimate is to support the development of youth ultimate players in the Bay Area by providing opportunities to learn and play at a high level under a player-centered and team-focused approach.

BUYA was established to unify the Bay Area’s successful summer YCC and winter youth club teams (Cali Roll and Gold Rush) under a single USAU affiliate organization. Our goal is to support the highly motivated youth of the Bay Area to achieve excellence on the field as players while empowering them to grow as leaders. We view success as giving players the tools and role models they need to become leaders and community builders in their own right.

Founded in San Jose in 2014, the Spiders are the back-to-back champions in Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) history.

After relocating to Oakland in 2022, the Spiders mission remains to entertain and inspire our community to live healthier more connected lives through Ultimate. As an organization the Spiders are committed to giving back through volunteerism, fundraising, and building our Community Web.  

Established in 2020, the Falcons are a Professional Women’s and Non-Binary Ultimate Frisbee team based out of the Bay Area, CA.  

 Our mission is to showcase and highlight our fan-friendly and exciting sport to folks of all age groups and genders and build community partnerships with organizations that support women, trans and nonbinary athletes.

Ultimate Impact is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was launched in June 2016 to support youth in our communities. We use the team sport of ultimate Frisbee as the framework for providing youth with increased opportunities, confidence, communication abilities, and conflict-resolution skills. Through weekly training sessions, peer interaction, and consistent adult mentorship, Ultimate Impact creates a positive environment for youth to have fun, be active, improve athletic skills, and build community through the concept of a team.

The goal GURLS is to increase the number of leaders from underrepresented genders, including (but not limited to): captains, coaches, event directors, organizers, and project managers. Our belief is that GURLS is an essential and integral piece of our community's larger responsibility in developing our sport by: 1) strengthening and growing the pipeline of new players 2) investing in local teams and programs and 3) developing strong, capable, and empathetic leaders.
